Simple Changes Have Big Benefits in ‘The Lean’
I had read Freston’s Quantum Wellness and actually became a vegetarian after reading it. But it’s I really like the way this book is set up. Each day she gives you a simple, but not always easy, goal toward leaning in. Each chapter was very straightforward fresfon with just enough information to get the reader on jathy way to changing habits and embracing the plant based diet life.
She shows that a plant-based diet is good for the body, the environment, and animals.
Then some of the other tasks, I feel are a little extreme, so I probably won’t add them into my own version of the plan. A Revolutionary and Simple! There i Lots of skimming here. I’m currently reading Mark Bittman’s Vegan Before 6 and loving his flexible approach; if you liked The Lean, but want to keep some dairy or meat in your life you might want to check it out.
